Supporting Black-Owned Businesses

At CB Creative Agency, we value TAKING ACTION. We’ve had the opportunity to work with several Black-owned organizations over the past several months, drawing on our diverse team of creators to make a difference.

branding: The Heart of Job Foundation

In 2020, the Heart of Job Foundation became our new client. This nonprofit is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth through music production education, offering a variety of workshops about the inner workings of music production.

Through these workshops, many kids who haven’t considered pursuing secondary education, internships, or certain jobs are able to explore a variety of career pathways.

Through this branding project, we helped Founder Job Clarkson clearly and artistically convey the Heart of Job Foundation’s unique mission and message. Branding projects typically include a new website, updated logo, social media content, other digital assets, and creative consulting. We’re excited to share the content we’ve created for Job, so check out his new website here!

Greenery: studio c florals

Our friend, Crystal, owns a rad floral business based in Newport Beach, CA called Studio C Florals. Before COVID-19, most of her business came from weddings and other large events, but more recently, she’s started doing home deliveries for indoor plants!

We’ve decked out our studio with six different potted plants of all sizes.

We’ve also been enhancing our clients’ spaces with Crystal’s plants—check out this CANVAS Costa Mesa EQ Flex office space.

Murals: Planet Health Compton

Planet Health is a vegan, Compton-based plaza dedicated to serving the community. Roland Jackson founded this health and wellness marketplace with a vegan restaurant, clothing boutique, juice bar, wellness store, and community center.

“It is our goal to reach the community through our culture and inspire a healthy lifestyle by providing a creative landscape for like-minded individuals – we will have space where education, community resources and programs are all available and geared towards giving back to the inner-city.”

-Roland Jackson

Over the past several months, we’ve been working with incredible creators like Begsonland to fill the space will murals that reflect the rich history of Compton and enhance the creative, healthy atmosphere. See a sneak peek below.

At its core CB Creative Agency is motivated by a love for creative evolution, and we hope each blog post inspires you with our work.
